# About

*November 29, 2025 — Kasper Bergholt*

My name is Kasper Bergholt. After 16 years away from the visual arts, a vintage Nikon D3, bought in 2023 for a minor macro photography project (documenting a Leben tube amplifier), pulled me back in.

This expanded in to photographing architecture and various objects, some of which have been collected in the ‘Objects for an Ideal Home‘ series.

I hold a Master of Arts degree (and a rare gold medal) from the University of Copenhagen.

Copenhagen photography

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, the setting for the ‘Flora Excursoria Hafniensis‘ series.

In 2024, I began working on the ‘The Time Is Out of Joint‘ series which references Shakespeare and Derrida.

Featured in Meanwhile (meanwhile.world), a global participatory photography project by Swiss artist Roger Eberhard (Berlin / Zürich) that serves as a visual time capsule of January 10, 2020, the day the WHO published the genetic sequence for COVID-19. My contribution captures Copenhagen’s Enghaveparken at 17:25 that evening. The image documents the unusual desolation of a normally vibrant public space.
