Note: Yesterday, my plan was to create a Zenodo archive for Sun: Triptychs for Solar Eclipses, exactly at the point of time the solar eclipse was at its fullest, 20:03 local time according to NASA, Copenhagen. I lost track of time.

Ordinal inscription #74,857,184 consists of a system poem originally written in 2011 as a two-part structure, one of which ties together three short lines inspired by Roman Jakobson’s ideas of stratifying (natural) language into an axis of selection, and one of combination.
I later built on this foundation for ‘Sun’ after reading an open call titled ‘The Wrong Eclipse’.
The first word of the poem-grid, interpretants, draws on the theories and vocabulary of Charles Sanders Peirce: interpretants / flow / rhythmically. Rhythmically, interpretants flow.
September 26th 2026 – NetLock BBS
A couple of days ago, I noticed that my old BBS, NetLock, had kindly been added to the list of BBSes on Demozoo, presumably after a file from 1994 titled ‘GSN Infopacket & Nodelist 11/10/94’ was retrieved and added.
This led to the archival work below. It also sparked some experiments with mid-90s textual and visual aesthetics, as well as photos of a Trust 14K4 modem similar to the one NetLock ran on (together with Maximus, first on DOS, then on OS/2 Warp).
If all goes well, it will result in a demoscene-inspired work written in Turbo Pascal or assembler. The visuals will be based on photos of the modem’s circuit side, and the sound on the Danish, Latin and German inscriptions on the Sand Drift Monument in Tisvilde.
