Note: Yesterday, my plan was to create a Zenodo archive for ‘Sun: Triptychs for Solar Eclipses’, exactly at the point of time the solar eclipse was at its fullest, what Gemini told me was 20:03 local time, Copenhagen. I lost track of time.

Ordinal inscription #74,857,184 consists of a system poem originally written in 2011 as a two-part structure, one of which ties together three short lines inspired by Roman Jakobson’s ideas of stratifying (natural) language into an axis of selection, and one of combination.
I later built on this foundation for ‘Sun’ after reading an open call titled ‘The Wrong Eclipse’.
The first word of the poem-grid, interpretants, draws on the theories and vocabulary of Charles Sanders Peirce: interpretants / flow / rhythmically. Rhythmically, interpretants flow.

NetLock BBS & FidoNet node 2:236/444, Hillerød, 199?–96
NetLock BBS was a bulletin board system, an early-stage social media platform, I ran from a basement in Hillerød, on Scott Dudley’s Maximus platform, from some point before July 1994 until February 1996.
It held the FidoNet node address 2:236/444 in net 236, one of five Danish nets under Region 23.
The surviving record is two documents. Liste over danske BBS’er, Anders Wegge Jakobsen’s directory of Danish boards, on the one hand, and FidoNet nodelists on the other.
The FidoNet nodelists, published weekly since 1986, hold the dates: seven Fridays across nineteen months, each recording a change that had already happened by the time the list went out. Neither can see NetLock BBS before July 1994, though it ran before that.
Netlock BBS is mentioned in Kim Schulz’ insightful obituary / essay ‘Ward Christensen: The Legacy of a BBS Pioneer Who Shaped Us All‘ along with Fantasia: « In Denmark, hacking-oriented boards like Fantasia and Netlock brought together like-minded souls, driven by a hunger for connection and the thrill of exploring uncharted digital frontiers.»
